Armed with nothing but a mixer-grinder, raw determination, and a simple Facebook Marketplace account, he turned a kitchen experiment into a fledgling business. The first sales trickled in—local buyers curious about a spread made with real ingredients and without compromise. For a brief, shining moment, it seemed like the momentum was building towards something unstoppable.
The Pause and The Pivot
Then, the world stopped. Only a few months later, the pandemic struck. The sudden lockdown forced operations to halt completely, and the budding business was silenced. The physical progress was crushed, but even in the stillness, the dream stayed alive, quietly simmering.
By 2022, the fire was rekindled. Yet this time, progress was slow. Sales were limited—friends, family, a handful of loyal customers in the city. A hundred jars here, a few dozen there.
